Hydrogen delivery. Shaped by the process.

Producing hydrogen and delivering it to an industrial process are different requirements. The delivery system must match the consuming process's rate, conditions and continuity needs. KyperX welcomes enquiries about the interfaces between production, conditioning, storage and use.

Interface

Match production with process demand.

The assessment begins with the production profile and the demand profile. Pressure, purity, temperature and permitted interruptions need to be defined. Those requirements inform whether conditioning, compression, buffering or other equipment should be investigated.

Conditioning

Pressure, purity and temperature need to be defined at the process interface. Those requirements inform whether conditioning or compression should be investigated.

Scoped assessment

What a scoped assessment can address.

  • 01

    Supply–demand matching

Investigate where production and use differ over time.

  • 02

    Buffer requirements

Identify the duty storage would need to perform.

  • 03

    Delivery conditions

Define the process interface and supporting equipment questions.

  • 04

    Equipment comparison

Assess suitable options and the specialist evidence required.

The assessment scope must identify site constraints, applicable safety requirements and the specialist engineering needed for equipment selection, installation and approval.

Variable supply

Where production follows variable electricity, the assessment begins with the production profile.

  • When does production differ from use?
  • What duty would a buffer need to perform?
  • Which interruptions can the process accept?

Requirements matrix

Equipment and integration enquiries.

Share the intended industrial use and any available production and delivery specifications. A scoped assessment can define a requirements brief covering rate, pressure, purity, temperature, continuity and the responsibilities at each interface.

System connection

Within the green iron pathway.

Hydrogen delivery is the link between electrolysis and reduction. Its design cannot be assumed from electrolyser capacity alone. The concept program treats this as an interface to resolve through process and operating analysis.

Questions customers ask.

Has KyperX selected a storage technology for its steel concept?

The accessible program record does not establish a final storage or compression configuration.

Can you assess an existing hydrogen supply?

We welcome an enquiry about a defined production and consuming-process interface.

Is specialist safety engineering included?

The required expertise and responsibilities must be specified in the project engagement.
